I can’t track my progress, remember previous exercises, reps, weights, etc. I like the fact that I can build my own workout, or load a selected plan, and can see the numbers related to my workout, so I can gauge individual workouts, track and build my progress, and feel proud of my accomplishments. I haven’t switched because it’s so easy to use. It has plenty of work outs for every muscle group. You can even break down your routines by group or use one of their many pre made plans for all levels of expertise. One of my favorite features is how it will give you a detailed break of how much your working each muscle so you can have an overall full body balanced work out.

  • I can track my reps and sets and it makes progressive overload a lot easier.
  • It makes for some friendly competition and accountability.The four star is because they just updated the app to function better with the Apple Watch, but it’s still glitchy.
  • The set counters were removed from the training outline page so you can’t see how much you’ve done at a glance anymore.
  • Discover the science behind the term deload in strength training.
  • I’ve tried working out without logging it, and it just doesn’t work for me.

I’ve been using this app for a while and I really like it, but I’m not keen on the latest changes – the rest timer is now really clunky, and it doesn’t work at all if you have a superset. I don’t think it’s necessary at all, as we’re ready to go when selecting start.

Last update seems to have wiped viewable body stats from displaying (ie weight / body fat %). App now seems to have some combination of dark theme running through it which makes it look rediculous on ios13. When you find a usable version that just works you are almost tempted to stop all auto updates in iOS and manually update all other apps just so you don’t get put out by these devs.Really a shame as this app does have a lot of potential. I’ve tried working out without logging it, and it just doesn’t work for me.

Without needing to pay for a member ship, is it actually very useful. I can track my reps and sets and it makes progressive overload a lot easier. The best and easiest to navigate app i’ve used so far. Only reason this is 4 instead of 5 is due to the fact that there’s no option to leave private feedback messages to suggest changes or features you think my be a good idea or submit a bug. I’ve not been earning Iron Points for approximately 50% of my workouts.

All my pre-made workouts satisfy the requirements of a ‘valid workout’ so there’s no reason why I shouldn’t be receiving them. I have earned the points on each workout at least once, so I know they’re all valid. I should be eligible for an Elite membership by now but I’m still quite a distance off. Shame that I can’t easily report this as a bug on the app and it has to be a public review, because the app is actually really really good. When I want to see graphs of my progress I have to take this data and put it elsewhere, there is no easy and intuitive way to see my weight progress on one specific exercise in a clear linear graph. There are many other little things that have changed for the worse since I started paying for JEFIT but these are the ones that smack me in the face every day. There is a lot of good in this app however and I just wish they asked users what they like/dislike or need/don’t need so they can avoid bloat and keep this app tight.

Love this app, don’t get me wrong, but recently I tried to input body stats, and now it won’t update any from the one I put in a month ago, it will let me put the data on, but then just saves it as the old input…. Have contacted JEFIT a number of times and they don’t have an answer for me, other than asking over and over again the same questions (which operating system device, does it happen on the web app etc…) although I answer them every time…. Now it has been “passed on the the developer” but nothing has happened since then… Very disappointed as I ha e been paying for this for a number of years now….Other than this hiccup, I actually have no other issues…

I’ve been using this app for a few years and while it does the key basic need for me, tracking and organizing my lifts, it leaves me frustrated over something new every time I use it. They update and changing the app frequently which is great but each iteration seems to lose something or make something less intuitive. More and more pop up prompts are added each time, asking you to make more and more decisions before you can actually get to the reason you opened the app, exercising.
